In 1992, she graduated from Northern Michigan University with an associate degree in Medical Business.  She worked for a local allergist as an office manager, medical transcriptionist, and did the insurance billing for 10 years.  While she was attending school for her LPN degree, she worked as a nurse’s aide at Eastwood Nursing home.  She graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2003 with an LPN degree.  She started her career as an LPN here at MGH in the ICU/CCU department where she worked for 5 ½ years before coming to CIAS.  She plans on eventually going for her RN degree.

She lives in Ishpeming with her son, Phillip, who is also attending Northern Michigan University.  She has three French Bulldogs named Minnie, Tigger, and Bandicoop which she states are her “babies”.  She has lived in
the Upper Peninsula all of her life.   She really enjoys the summer months
