Andrew Wiesmann - LPN
Andrew Wiesmann has been a nurse since 2001 and joined the CIAS team in 2008. His focus in nursing has been emergency and acute care.
Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University in 1996, with majors in biology and chemistry, and minor in fine arts. He is a 2001 graduate of Bay college, where he received a certificate in practical nursing. In addition to licensure as an LPN he is certified by NADA as an acupuncture detoxification specialist and performs auricular acupuncture for the CIAS department.
As well as his work in substance abuse nursing Andrew is co-owner of Brass Tacks Upholstery and Canvas in Gwinn Michigan, and serves on the board of the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a worldwide nonprofit educational foundation dedicated to promoting knowledge of medieval history.
Andrew lives with his wife in Gwinn Michigan. His spends his spare time working as an artist blacksmith, woodworker, and historical recreationist.
