We
want your stay at Marquette General Hospital to be as comfortable
as possible. To insure you and your roommate get the rest
needed for recovery, please follow these guidelines regarding visitors:
General
visiting hours are from 8 AM to 10 PM.
Special
instructions are posted for everyone's health and safety.
Please obey all special signs.
Have
only two visitors at a time.
Please keep
noise down to avoid disturbing others.
Keep
visits brief.
Smoking
is not permitted anywhere in the hospital.
When
a patient requires privacy, visitors may be asked to leave
the room.
Check
at the nurses station about:
1.
Permission to visit patients in isolation
2.
Having visitors under the age of 14
3.
Bring food in for patients
If
permission is granted for a young person to visit, they must
be supervised at all times by a family member or friend of
the family. Staff are not permitted to provide child care.
Visitors
may not have food or drink in patient rooms. Please use
the cafeteria and canteen areas.
Units
with special visiting hours
Intensive
Care Unit (ICU) - first floor:
9:30
am - 12:30 pm
5:30
pm - 9:00 pm
Visits
are limited to 15 minutes.
Other
times can be arranged with the nurse.
Limited
to immediate family & significant others.
Advanced
Cardiac Unit (ACU) - seventh floor:
Visits
are arranged between the nurse and the
immediate family, keeping the patients's needs a priority.
