Incoming calls:

 

To call a patient, dial 906-225 - and the patient's room number.  For example, if you are calling a patient in room 999, dial 906-225-3999.

 

An incoming WATS line from Michigan and N.E. Wisconsin is also available for family members who wish to call patients at Marquette General.  Families may reach a patient by dialing


1-800-562-9753, and asking for the room number.  Calls are limited to five minutes.

An amplified receiver is available for the hearing impaired.  Please ask a nurse about this service.

 

 

For outgoing calls:

 

** Local calls-dial 9, wait for the dial tone and then dial the number you wish to call.
** Long distance - Credit card  or collect calls dial 9-8-0-area code
and phone number
** Hospital operator - Dial 0.

 

The hospital has a toll free WATS line for calls to numbers in Michigan and N.E. Wisconsin. This line may be used between 6 and 9pm on weekdays and between 3pm and 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  Please limit calls to five minutes.

 

Arrangements for use of the WATS line can be made for families and patients in critical care areas.  To use the WATS line during permitted hours, dial 9-1-906-(seven-digit-number).
